WHO ARE WE?

Founded by artist & entrepreneur Siki Daha, I Believe In Me originally started as a series of books to empower and educate the next generation on women of colour who had paved the way in arts globally.

Having already created successful fundraising campaigns that allowed him to bring resources and books in Pakistan, Bali and collaborating with other not for profits in Australia, IBIM was just hitting the ground running.

After releasing the first book in 2021 with little success Siki decided that there was more he could do to assist in getting not only his book but countless other stories of bipoc women out to the world.

Having curated successful campaigns in the past Siki decided to step back into grass roots fundraising and gofund me campaigns via his social media and music school Music Roof.

Having partnered with the Asylum Seekers Centre in Melbourne (Australia) and Asyaidu Orphanage in Bali (Indonesia) with back to school and donation programs in 2019 & 2020, a two year scholarship program with the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in 2023 & 2024 along with 470 brand new books donated in 2024 to orphanages and organisations in Kenya, Philippines, Palestine, Indonesia our journey has just begun.
